Dverberg er også navnet på kirkesognet, poststedet (8485) og matrikkelgården (gnr 27).<br /> <br /> Dverberg var i perioden 1837 til 1924 navnet på kommunen som i dag tilsvarer Andøy kommune. Den 1. januar 1924 ble kommunen delt i tre; Dverberg, Bjørnskinn og Andenes.
