<p>opprettet side om Kaldvellrønningen i Lillesand</p> <p><b>Ny side</b></p><div>Kaldvellrønningen var en husmannsplass på nordsiden av Kaldvellelven i Lillesand kommune. Rønning er det samme som rydningsplass. <br /> <br /> Plassen er nevnt allerede på 1600-tallet, og lå ved gamle Kaldvell sag (på slutten av 1800-tallet ble det bygd ny sag nede ved elvens utløp i fjorden). <br /> <br /> På sørsiden av det gamle sagbruket ble det senere bygd et hus som het Savestua. Da tresliperiet på Kaldvell ble bygd rundt 1890, ble Savestua flyttet over til Kaldvellrønningen, som en gang i mellomtiden hadde gått av bruk og sto ledig.
