Foto Steinar Bunæs 2020.]] <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> &#039;&#039;&#039;Flyplassens porter&#039;&#039;&#039; og inngjerding har sin egen historie opp gjennom de skiftende epoker plassen har gjennomlevd. Den første porten vi kjenner var i bruk som hovedport fram til [[1937]]. Den lå rett overfor [[Vestengveien (Lillestrøm)|Vestengveien]]s utmunning i [[Fetveien (Kjeller)|Fetveien]] i dag. <br /> <br /> I 1936 fikk så murmester Sverre Andersen i oppdrag å sette opp en ny, staselig port nærmere [[Storgata]]. Denne var i bruk gjennom hele krigen. Småflyområdet har tilgang direkte fra Storgata. Ved forlengelsen av rullebanen er det anbragt en nettingport som kan rulles til side for å sikre en maksimal tilgjengelig rullebanelengde.
