Gjennom yrkeslivet laga han opp mot 1000 feler, og mange blei nytta av landets beste spelemenn. <br /> Han laga også fele på bestilling til musikk-konservatoriet i Aabo Finland.&lt;ref&gt;Sætherskar, 1949, s. 732.&lt;/ref&gt; <br /> <br /> Verkstaden var gamal, og hadde gjenge i arv gjennom fleire generasjonar med felemakarar.
