Fredrik Nicolai Wiborg was the youngest son of Anders Nielsen Wiborg, who was a major in the Norwegian Army and Commandant of the Kristiansfjeld fortress in Elverum. The settlement of his father’s estate was held on 28 January 1719; he is listed as the youngest of Anders Nielsen Wiborg’s 15 children and 4 years of age at the time.
