Carl G O Hansen
307-309 South sixth street
My dear Mr. Hansen
I have made arrangements for a
first friend and a job in Oregon, and
my papers were passed here and forwarded
to Washington May 22nd for approval of the
Parole Board.
I do not know of any reason for the
Board in Washington refusing approval
but some times it takes a long time
to git action back there. As you know I
am anxious to get to work to properly take
care of my family - I will receive good pay
where i am going to work, so I think by
fall I can have my family with me.
I would appreciate very much your
writing Senator Shipstead as soon as possible
and ask him to go the to the Department
of Justice and ask the Parole Board to hurry
my release as much as possible. This I
know will help a great deal, and it surely
will help me. The firm in Oregon which
is hiring me, are anctious for me to come
and if I have to wait too long, I may
lose out. Thanking you most kindly for
any effort you make for me, I am
Yours truly
Conrad.
