1. Sunday afternoon
Novb. 30th 1890. Christiania
My dear Georgie and August
After å good dinner I am sitting
on one of Jenny's sofas in her dining -room.
It is cold outside while we have a blazing fire
in the stove. Next Sunday father surely will be
home. I am counting the days till his return. He will
get permission for a month first, and then
ask for the rest af the Winter, when he gets here.
We hope we can have over home in Christiania og
for the future. To move to Trondhjem would be
a trial! Father was very well, men last he wrote
a few days go- and longed for home, where he
thankt he would be der kom now. Nothen

oldest som Charlie, was very sick, when she wrote.
He does not seem to amount to much,
poor boy. Stella hos tried hard to make
him learn something - he has been to
different schools, but will not stay at anytning.
Two years ago he went West and to cattle -

business. Seneral times he has been hare
from the West and had to go back again
as he did not want to get any kind
of mark in the East. - Stella tells that
Ella Jenkins was married to her brother-
in-law, Mr Katchim a fem months ago.
All the Jenkins seemed very sweet and
nice. How I wish you were here August,
Georgie, Alice and Madeline, that you lived
here. From Theodore end Stella we have
not heard in some weeks. - Peter and one
of his friends went to a "Coffee Concert"
at Tivoli. Every Sunday afternson from
5 to 7 dock here are Concert at the
grand nei Tivoli, ånd Peter is alvors forte-
natte to get a ticket and aftens regular,

Litte Claus Skougaard er en bed with
a cold. His mother did from consumpte
