'''[[Schweigaards gate (Oslo)|Schweigaards gate]]''' er ei gate i [[Bydel Gamle Oslo]], i strøkene [[Grønland (Oslo)|Grønland]] og [[Gamlebyen (Oslo)|Gamlebyen]] i [[Oslo]]. Den strekker seg fra en rundkjøring ved den nye [[Sonja Henies plass]] hvor den møter [[Biskop Gunnerus' gate]] og [[Lybekkergata]]. Derfra går den østover forbi [[St. Halvards gate (Oslo)|St. Halvards gate]], hvor den ender i en snuplass. Gata fikk i [[1879]] navn etter professor og politiker [[Anton Martin Schweigaard]] (1808-70).


Den opprinnelige vestlige delen av gata, fra [[Akerselva]] til [[Grønlandsleiret]], ble opparbeidet i [[1860-åra]]. Den het da Mogangen til et sted vest for nåværende [[Tøyenbekken (gate)|Tøyenbekken]], og så Klostergaden. Fra  Grønlandsleiret til St. Halvards gate ble gata opparbeidet i [[1871]], og fram til [[1873]] het den Munkegaden. Den ble så videreutviklet fram mot [[1899]] da [[Kristianiakrakket]] bremset videre byggeaktivitet. I forbindelse med saneringen av [[Vaterland (Oslo)|Vaterland]] i 1960-årene og den senere utbyggingen av området ble den forlenget vestover i dagens trase gjennom den tidligere bebyggelsen i [[Repslagergangen]] til dagens sluttpunkt midt i den tidligere [[Vognmannsgata (Oslo)|Vognmannsgata]].

Det har siden [[1900]] gått [[trikk]] gjennom Schweigaards gate. [[Etterstadtrikken]] gikk der 1900–[[1968]], og [[Gamlebytrikken]] en periode fra [[1957]]. [[Ekebergbanen]] går fortsatt gjennom Schweigaards gate. Gata har i det hele tatt vært preget av mye trafikk, men etter at strekningen mellom Oslo gate og St. Halvards gate ble [[miljøgate]] i [[1991]] avtok dette. Under byggingen av [[Bjørvikatunnelen]] har fartsbegrensningen (30 km/t i miljøgata) blitt opphevet, men det antas at det når det nye veisystemet er ferdig, vil den igjen bli begrenset.
